Flip Flop JT Lite
This is a CFL light using a ‘flip flop’, a ‘joule thief’, and a ‘Fuji’ disposable camera CFL circuit. I call it the “Flip Flop JT Lite”. The first circuit takes energy from a source and turns it into pulses. The second circuit converts the energy to very fast jolts of energy at an elevated voltage. That energy is then fed to an inverter type fluorescent bulb driver that is run by one AA battery. The Flip Flop Has a very High Consumption Compared to the TS555 CMOS but like you say it worth testing it all.
The TS kicks Ass do not just through it away……..
If its all about lower Amp draw keep it in mind…..
I ran a normal NE555 and at Bistable circuit which one do you think won?

Great job, as always. Please, let me know when you will start with LC oscillator circuits (Colpitts) with capacitor voltage divider combined with JT driving a bigger coil like a transformer.

akafazov— These things ARE applicable to real life. It is a case of committing the time and money to the quest. First you have to do alot of testing to make sure the devices really work in a real life situation. It all takes time.

For dewey to add few more steps like maybe should enter this in the charger part of the device when the device when the charger part of the sun hits his solar cell and then figure out something for dewey to do other than just supervise hummmwhat would bruce dern do other.

AlienNRG– I just exchanged it with one of the 10 K resistors on the base of one of the flip flop transistors. It was just an easy way to vary the pulse. Changing the capacitors values varies things also.
